Libby Antisdel -
Business and Facility Manager
Libby Antisdel is the current Business and
Facility Manager for her family’s business, Maffitt Lake Farms.
Libby was raised on the family farm in Cumming, Iowa and started
riding at the age of 3. By 7 she was showing ponies, then on to Children’s
Hunter, Junior Hunter, Equitation, Medals, Amateur Owner Hunter and
Amateur Owner Jumper. With many championships under her belt, Libby
took four years off of riding to attend the University of Kansas,
where she earned a degree in Communications. Following college, Libby
moved to Chicago and trained with renowned hunter rider, Tim Gougen.
She then moved to Denver, Colorado where she worked as a Meeting
Planner, and trained and showed with Cory Shaha and Paul Rhorbach
of Wellsbridge Farm . Upon returning to her hometown, Libby began
learning the family business and took over for her mother, Melinda,
in the summer of 2006.
Libby is currently in business with trainer/professional
rider Kyle Dewar and is bringing up a Baby Green Hunter, G Love, with
whom she hopes will be her next champion Amateur Owner Hunter.
