Kyle Muckler started riding at the age of 8 in Flemington, New Jersey, with Kathy Kunsman. Kyle quickly moved up the pony ranks before moving to Des Moines, Iowa. At that point, he began showing in the equitation and junior hunter rings with success regionally and nationally. Kyle caught rode many sale horses for Ned and Stacy Long while a junior, and began working green horses at a young age. Upon completion of his junior years, Kyle was offered a job at Maffitt Lake Farms as an Assistant Trainer. Kyle is now the head trainer and rider at Maffitt Lake Farms, overseeing day-to-day activities, along with the training and care of the animals and clients. Kyle is also currently a student at Drake University in Des Moines, IA.
